Whats going on with our gates?

So we wanted to update the community on what is going on with the gates these last few days. We have been hit by a bit of a perfect storms of a few issues happening at the same time. The first issue is there have been some issues with connectivity between the wifi and our gate system. we are working with both parties to try to get to the bottom of it. But it is effecting thecalling feature on the new gate. Everything else should be working. We are aware of it and we are working on a quick fix.

The other MAJOR issue is this past week we had a total failure of the frequency loop system that runs under our pavers. the loops were put in many years ago and communicate with emergency vehicles coming into our system to automatically open the gates for them. it stopped working. We have been told that there were issues with the loop system going back many years here at Ritz Cove and previous boards decided not to fix them at the time. So neglecting this issue has led to them completely failing. We are working with out gate company and will get this fix ASAP. it is an urgent emergency situation for us to get these fixed. In the meantime, the board has decided that for the safety of our residents we will most likely keep the gates open 24/7 until the issue has been fixed so that emergency vehicles can access our community in a time of emergency.
